Blackboard Wikis

A wiki is a type of website that allows users to easily add and edit content and is especially suited for collaborative authoring.

Wikis are used to create a collaborative space within the site where all learners can view, contribute, and edit content. Wikis can also be used as a resources for learners to view information and content relevant to their sites.

Links to other Wiki pages can be created when at least two pages exist.

You can view a participation summary of contributions to a wiki that is not graded.

You can add comments to pages within the wiki space.

If a course or site wiki can be graded, and the wiki is not group-specific, follow these steps to assign individual grades that will get populated in the corresponding column in the Grade Centre for each individual. Grading can be done via the Grade Centre or via the Wikis tool.

If a group wiki can be graded, follow these steps to assign either 1) the same grade to all the members of the Group; or 2) assign an individual Group member a different grade from the Group. In either case, the grade will get populated in the corresponding column in the Grade Centre for each Group member.
