A Private Blog (also called a Journal) is self-reflective tool for learners to share thoughts with their instructors. Private Blogs can be made available site-wide and in group spaces.
A Shared Blog is an open communications tool for learners to share their thoughts across the course or in groups. Blog entries are read and commented on by other enrolled users.
There are three types of blogs: Individual, Site, and Group. You can create new blog entries in each type, however in an Individual blog, only when you are viewing your own blog are you able to post blog entries.
You can delete only one entry (and its associated comments) at a time. To delete multiple entries, you would have to delete the entire blog via the Blogs tool.
You can add comments to Blog entries, all comments to a post are listed from oldest to newest.
