Getting help with Google Apps

Google Apps for Education provides a number of online tools for staff and students. These include file storage, web site creation, a collaborative office suite (word processor, spreadsheet, presentation tool), and an online form creator. You can find out more about how to use your Sheffield Hallam University Google Apps account in the following guides:

Google also provide a variety of resources to help lecturers use the tools, including training guides, recorded webinars and example lesson plans.

For further inspiration, the University of Sheffield has written a blog post that outlines some of the ways in which Google Apps can be used. If you are interested in using Google Apps for teaching purposes, we recommend you have a conversation with your Faculty e-learning adviser, as they can advise you about the best way to set up and use Google Apps (or other tools) to accomplish your teaching goals. If you would like to use Google Apps for other University purposes, please contact IT Help for further guidance and support.

You can access your SHU Google Apps account using your standard SHU login details from http://go.shu.ac.uk/google
